Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the What2Text: AI Message Writer web application at what2text.com/app (the “App”) and the website what2text.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Site.

The App and Site are operated by Coditech, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland (NIP 5273044186, REGON 524536663) — “we”, “us”.

1. The Service

What2Text uses artificial intelligence to generate suggested text messages based on situations you describe. Suggestions are exactly that — suggestions. You decide what to send, to whom, and you are solely responsible for the messages you send and their consequences.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you are under 18, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or guardian. Using the generator requires signing in with a Google account; you are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

• Signing in is free and includes one free AI-written draft. Continued use requires the paid “Unlimited” subscription.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from Settings in the App; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Outside the withdrawal period described in section 4, payments already made are not refunded.
• Prices may change; changes apply to future billing periods after reasonable notice.

4. Right of Withdrawal (consumers in the EU/EEA and the UK)

• If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from the day your subscription starts to withdraw from it, without giving any reason.
• Because the subscription gives you access straight away, by subscribing you expressly ask us to begin providing the service during the withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that you will owe a proportionate amount for the access you have already had if you then withdraw.
• If you withdraw within those 14 days, we refund what you paid, less a proportionate amount for the period during which you had access. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving your notice.
• To withdraw, email support@what2text.com before the 14 days are up. Any clear statement of your decision is enough — you do not have to use a particular form of words.
• After the 14-day period, the cancellation terms in section 3 apply.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App or Site to:

• generate messages that harass, threaten, defame, or deceive others;
• send spam or unsolicited commercial messages;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity in a harmful way;
• generate content that is unlawful, or that exploits or harms minors in any way;
• reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the operation of the App or Site;
• violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

6. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated suggestions may occasionally be inaccurate, inappropriate for your context, or not reflect your intent. Review every message before sending it. What2Text does not provide professional advice — messages relating to relationships, grief, health, legal, or financial matters are general suggestions, not counsel from a qualified professional. To the extent permitted by law, you own the message text you generate with the App and may use it freely.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, Site, and all associated branding, design, guides, and software are owned by What2Text or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY SUGGESTION WILL ACHIEVE ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WHAT2TEXT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, RELATIONSHIPS, OPPORTUNITIES, OR REPUTATION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR ANY MESSAGE YOU CHOOSE TO SEND. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless What2Text from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, the messages you send, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be indicated by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Polish law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
